Travels

My first time on a plane was a mere 30-minute flight from the island state of Penang back to KL in Malaysia. My ears were blocked from the change in pressure for two days. The next time was a 8 hours hauler to Australia, thought I'll permanently lose hearing from that but my senses arrived intact and discovered the joy of discovering since then. It was liberating. It didn't only open my eyes, it opened my mind. It was unconventional but since then I knew I couldn't just sit still, go through the routine and grow old being in one place, one mindset. Take some time away, and see what and where that brings you. I'm lucky to have done so - I've never looked back.

We all don't have all the time in the world, while my memory is crummy. These pictures and words resemble a way I embody the enriching sights, sound and senses of my time away into something more permanent than my own mortality. - Han
